Thank you for visiting the Official Website of the David For President
Presidential Committee. I, David, am a Presidential Candidate for
President in 2008. I have ONLY one request of you, and that is that you

| I am a Man, therefore I have sinned and I have both good and bad traits. | |
| I am a Christian. Because of my repentance and my belief in JESUS | |
| CHRIST as my Lord and Savior, God has forgiven me of my sins and therefore maybe you can too. | ||
| I Believe that the Lord has called me to run for President because this | |
| country needs a leader who will bring it back to God and HIS Plan for US. | ||
| I have a Dream that we as Christians can make this country a better | |
| place for all of us until the coming of the Lord. |
| My beliefs about this country |
I believe that this country, The United States of America, was founded by men
under Christian Principles. That those men whom we call the Founding Fathers,
prayed, deliberated, and developed the Declaration of Independence and The
Constitution of the United States of America to provide the CHAINS that were
intended to keep the government from becoming a Master of us the Citizens.
That as Citizens and Christians, we have neglected our duties to ensure that
the Government did not make slaves of us and that it is Time for us to once
again chain the Government by the Constitution and free ourselves to be the
Citizens that the founders envisioned when they wrote the Declaration Of
Independence.
I also believe that there are those of our countrymen in all political parties who
are working to make us slaves and are trying to remove our Christian Values
from the schools, the law, and even the churches. They do this because they are
NOT Christians and/or because they have forgotten their own Christian values.
Regardless of your Party affiliation, I remind you of the fact that NO MAN can
serve two Masters! I believe that the Founders of this country recognized that
and did the best that they could to develop the Rules of Law to ensure that we
the Citizens remained in control of the Government. That is why The
Constitution of The United States is The LAW of The LAND. It is NOW the
Time to Enforce that LAW.

When I joined the Military, I took an OATH OF OFFICE that read:
"I, David Ernst Furniss, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and
defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and
domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this
obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and
that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am
about to enter: So help me God." That oath is found at 5 U.S.C. 3331.
When the President and Members of Congress, (both the House of
Representatives and the Senate) are sworn in, they take that same OATH OF
OFFICE. It is our duty as Citizens to ensure they KEEP that oath or to throw
them out of office. The only way to make sure they do that is for us to READ
and UNDERSTAND both the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution
of the United States for ourselves. And we should be teaching our children to do
the same. Both of those documents were written by the Founding Fathers so
that the average Citizen could read and understand them!
